BUILDING FROM THE GROUND UP
I shared a word in December about how we’ve been in a “building the altar” season.
To the leaders who know you aren’t just building altars, but you’re also building the very foundations of what the “new thing” will be:
The unsettling part is that it feels as though you have no idea what you’re doing because it is new. What remains true is that you cannot build with your own knowledge. Everything must wholly be built in accordance with the Spirit.
You will be stretched and tested but this is to cultivate the deeper level of faith and resilience needed for the resistance you will face. There’s an even greater level of consecration God will require of you. The Bride is being made ready. Are you willing to pay the price?
I’m reminded of Nehemiah and the Israelites when they were rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Just like them, God’s builders needed in this hour are warriors at heart — they’re not soft. Just like Nehemiah and the other builders, you understand what it looks like to hold a building tool in one hand and a weapon of warfare in the other. God has been training you to do both.
You may feel isolated, but you are not building alone. This year, I believe God will partner you with other builders who carry the same spirit. You’ll be surprised to discover there are many, because God has been raising up an army.
Be encouraged. Your Father is proud of you.
