AND IT WILL BE ESTABLISHED.

In January, I kept hearing the words “And it will be established” over and over. I wrote this some time ago, but it’s only now that I’ve felt to share it. I was led to Job 22:28, which says:

“You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways. When they cast you down, and you say, ‘Exaltation will come!’ Then He will save the humble person.”

— Job 22:28 NKJV

I like how the New Living Translation puts it:

“You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you. If people are in trouble and you say, ‘Help them,’ God will save them.”

Job 22:28 NLT

There is such a weightiness I’ve been discerning around the significance of the words we choose to release in this time. God is listening intently to what we speak, and the Spirit of God is hovering over situations that seem unlikely or even impossible—waiting for us to speak what He sees, everything that is possible.

God is demonstrating His power by empowering us to walk in His authority. The words we speak in faith have the grace to be established.

I saw words of faith in the form of prayers and even words of faith being spoken casually during conversations having a greater effect. I saw those very words move forward with speed as they began to “take root” immediately, with the result being that people were seeing fruit sooner than they expected.

I then saw that those who had been speaking words of unbelief were feeling more and more frustrated because they felt stuck, knowing things should have moved forward by now but they hadn’t. I believe this is a gentle reminder to be mindful of the words we are speaking over our lives, over others and over this season.

There is also such a strong grace for intercession in this hour, and many of you will also see your prayers for those who have been far from God being restored to Him answered.

But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

1 Peter 5:10 NKJV

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

Isaiah 55:10-11 NIV
